I have successfully negotiated a settlement in the sum of £6,250 for an accident victim client. My client was involved in a rear end shunt road traffic accident in a public car park and suffered injuries as a result.

The Defendant Insurers quickly admitted liability for the circumstances of the accident but alleged fraud against the client on the basis that the accident was a ‘low velocity impact’ and as such that no injuries could have been sustained by her.
After some good investigative work and a fight I managed to secure a full admission of liability from the Defendant Insurers but there then followed a dispute on Quantum (value) with the Defendant offering a mere £3,200 which I believed was entirely insufficient on the basis of the injuries sustained by the client.
I issued Court Proceedings against the Defendant on account of the Defendant Insurer’s unreasonable behaviour (unwillingness to negotiate) and thereafter quickly secured a settlement of £6,250 for the client who was delighted.
