After a Long Fight – Successful Settlement of Accident at Work Claim

Hayley Taylor, Legal Executive (Graduate) at Ringrose Law has successfully negotiated a settlement in the sum of £5,000 for an accident victim client.

Hayley‘s client was involved in an unfortunate accident at work – she was walking through her employer’s car park when she suddenly tripped in a large pothole causing her to fall and sustain soft tissue injuries. Her injuries left her unable to work for several weeks.

Hayley Taylor initially met her client for a free first Interview. At that interview, Hayley advised her client that he had good claim for compensation, and that we could work under a no win, no fee, agreement on her behalf.

The defendant company strenuously denied liability for the accident throughout but Hayley was confident of their negligence and kept fighting. Hayley obtained supportive medical evidence and thereafter made a final attempt to settle the claim amicably by putting a settlement offer forward.

The offer was rejected resulting in the issue of proceedings.

The Defendant company then instructed solicitors to deal with the case. Following that advice the company quickly agreed that they were negligent for the accident and admitted full liability.

A global settlement was quickly negotiated and agreed. Our client accepted an offer of £5,000 in full and final settlement - an excellent result!

The client was thrilled with the settlement achieved by Hayley.

If you have been the victim of an accident that was not your fault and would like Hayley Taylor or any member of the Personal Injury team to help you, do not hesitate to contact any one of our offices to arrange a free interview.
